Holistic Massage & Bodywork

For Your WHOLE Body

Holistic Massage & Bodywork aims at bringing relief and rejuvenation to your entire being. A session can include various modalities with certified massage therapist, Victor Nguyen, who will conduct an assessment of your three bodies - physical, emotional and mental (body, heart and mind).

Victor specializes in Thai Massage & Acupressure for orthopedic disorders and Neuromuscular Therapy for pain relief.

Just a few sessions can make a profound improvement on your mind, body and spirit. You'll feel relaxed and shifted as you find your natural state of well-being.

Holistic massage and bodywork is beneficial for:

  • Stress level reduction, by promoting relaxation and releasing tension stored in the muscles.

  • Alleviating various types of pain, including chronic pain, headaches, reducing inflammation, and releasing endorphins, the body's natural painkillers.

  • Stimulating blood flow and lymphatic drainage, to enhance circulation and promote the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to cells throughout the body.

  • Boosting your immune system.

  • Reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, and increasing levels of serotonin and dopamine.

  • Fostering a deeper connection between the mind and body and promoting overall balance and harmony.

“As a musician and an athlete, I subject my body to lots of repetitive motion challenges. Victor’s repertoire of deep tissue, fascial planes, peripheral nerve tracts, and joints helps keep me doing what I love to do! An essential part of my body maintenance!”

- T. Chow

“I can’t say enough about Victor, The Metta Space, and his services offered. Getting a holistic massage from someone who incorporates so much healing light, knowledge, experience, and mastery is a delight and treatment for the whole Self!

- Kate M.

“Victor’s holistic massages are wonderful! I love when that he asks me before the massage what I have going on with my body physically and also spiritually. I always notice a difference after the session and feel amazing.”

- Kristen S.

What can I expect at my first session?

You will be greeted by your therapist, Victor, and have time to drink water and use the WC, if needed. You will then be guided into a peaceful and healing treatment room where you will feel safe, comfortable and at ease.

What is holistic massage and bodywork?

Holistic massage and bodywork is a therapeutic approach that goes beyond just addressing physical aches and pains. It's a whole-body experience, aimed at promoting overall wellness and balance of the mind, body, and spirit. Holistic massage combines hands-on massage techniques with other holistic therapies like, energy work, stretching, breathing exercises, and more. The goal is to nurture the entire individual for complete rejuvenation.

How does it work?

During a holistic massage and bodywork session, Victor uses a variety of massage strokes and therapeutic techniques to manipulate the soft tissues and release areas of tension. Holistic bodywork takes it a step further by incorporating specialized methods to restore overall balance and harmony.

What is a session like?

A holistic massage and bodywork session with Victor includes an assessment of your three bodies - physical, emotional and mental (body, heart and mind). From there, you will share your specific intention for your session and then Victor will share a proposed plan of actions for your customized massage treatment.
